Cross Cultural Engagement

As a Finn with a long history of living in Japan and a Japanese resident in Finland, we are well-versed in the similarities and differences between work, design, and art in both countries.

We aim to further strengthen the collaborations we have achieved throughout our careers, leveraging the strengths of both nations.

Something larger than us

Once when working with architecture company in Japan I heard people describing surface of wood with words ki-no-nukumori, which means warmth of wood, the cozy and home-like feeling of a wood surface.
I feel Finland and Japan both have similar respect towards nature, something bigger than just material things.
I feel our cultures have a lot in common, and this is also a wonderful business connection.
