Earlier this year we had pleasure to collaborate together with Mobeon, Inc to create high quality virtual production for Canon. Canon has recently released their line of virtual production enabled cameras which work seamlessly with most platforms. Especially the critical lens data is automatically transmitted, no external lens encoders needed.
Sonagraf created the photorealistic Unreal Engine backgrounds and handled all performance optimization for the virtual production. The mountain environment spans over 5 kilometers and is built from highly accurate LiDAR scans of mountainous regions in the UK.
